La Cañada

Course Description:

The Club de Golf La Cañada is located on the Costa del Sol, in the urbanization of Sotogrande, paradise for lovers of tranquility, quality of life and sports tourism.

In 1982 it was founded as a non-profit private sports association, whose main objective is the promotion of the sport of Golf, and through administrative concession manages the first public golf course in Spain, “the La Cañada Municipal Golf Course”.

18 holes (Par 71), designed by two of the best golf designers that have existed in the history of this sport; the first nine holes for David Thomas and the second nine by the famed Robert Trent Jones Senior.

Highlights of fast greens, large groves and spectacular views of the Mediterranean make it an ideal course for golf and nature lovers.

The tradition of this Club is intimately linked with that of children’s golf. With more than 300 students, our Municipal Golf School is rated as one of the most important in Spain.

Affordable prices are among the most competitive in the market and, together with the high quality of the course, make this an unbeatable price-quality position.
